CAMP BUTTERFLY

A camp for children and teens experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Camp Butterfly is to help these young people understand their grief and how to move through it.

This camp is designed to offer support and coping skills to children and teens who have experienced the loss of someone close. This one-day day camp will provide a safe and supportive environment for campers to explore all of their feelings of grief.

Age-appropriate group activities with trained grief counselors include:
. Team building challenges
. Arts and Crafts
. Games
. Group Discussions
. Special Memorial closing ceremony

Campers will learn that:
· Their feelings are normal
· There are different ways to work through their grief
· They are not alone
· They can enjoy life and keep the memory of their loved one alive

Plus, campers and parents will go home with memories and tools to help the healing process continue.
