Pampered Chef Fundraiser - Show and demonstration on Tuesday, May 19th at Marine Federal Credit Union on Western Blvd in Jacksonville.  Free and open to the public.  Advance orders can be done through catalog sales (call the office) or online at www.pamperedchef.biz/dixiescorner .  (Click on Our Products, then on left column, click on How to Purchase. Yard Sale - May 30, 2009 from 7 am to noon at 3391 Henderson Dr. Ext. in Jacksonville.  Now accepting donations for items to sell.  Donations can be dropped off at FFH office.  For more information, call Diana or Mary at (910) 989-2682.

 


 

   Recent Events:

5th Annual Lights of Remembrance Service - held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Jacksonville Commons Memorial Fountain Area.  Program participants included Young Marines (Camp Johnson), Kris Burritt (singer), Chaplain Joel Kettner, Johnny Thompson (FFH board member), and Cynthia Simon of the Voices of Judah.  They all did an outstanding job.  Our sponsors this year were Onslow Memorial Hospital, Continuum Home Care & Hospice, Jones Onslow Electric Membership Corporation, Johnson Funeral Homes, Food Lion (College Park), Food Lion (Branchwood), Starbuck's, and Chick-Fil-A.  Special thanks to volunteers from Continuum HC&H, Camp Johnson Young Marines, and Camp Lejeune Boys Scouts Troop # 490.   

Eastern NC's Got Talent! Show & Silent Auction was held on Sunday November 16, 2008 at Northside High School. Hospice Bear Event was held in November  at the Texas Steakhouse & Saloon.  Sponsors were Continuum Home Care & Hospice, Totally Toes Professional Pedicures, and Carolina Pines Needle Quilters Guild 

Moving Through Grief Workshops in October at Onslow Memorial Hospital in October

Moving Through Grief Workshops were held at the Senior Center in Jacksonville in June  and July

Grief Recovery Support Group  was held on Tuesday afternoons at the George Street Senior Center in New Bern during the month of June.

Yard Sale to Benefit Foundation was held on May 31st.  Sponsored by Continuum Home Care & Hospice and its employees and volunteers.
